All Dogs go to Heaven

Remembering Pepper - this post is dedicated to man's best friend (or for the last year or so Mom's best friend). I first met Pepper when she lived with Jeff & Danna. She later came to live with me soon after I bought my first house as she developed "issues" with Jeff's other lab, Cocoa (the girls just couldn't get along). I didn't have a fenced in yard nor the plans to get one so having a lab inside was quite the challenge. After some time had passed, she moved to Marti's house to live in the back yard (and rock Maggie's world). When Marti & I made the decision (see earlier posts) to become dog-free, Pepper then went to live with my niece and nephew in Louisiana. When that didn't work out, my mom decided to take her in. She fenced in her back yard and has enjoyed having Pepper ever since. However, this morning I received the phone call from Mom telling me of Pepper's passing. She was a great dog - so loving, kind, and gentle - and loved by many families (as you can see from all her travels). From what we know she lived a very long life (well longer than most labs I know) reaching into at least the late teens - maybe even 20 - we don't know for sure!!! We'll all miss her!! My mom's daycare kids just loved her. Last summer they'd just play and play with her. The school kids even loved giving her a bath - they would have done it daily if Mom would have let them!! She got so much attention - her last months were good ones and well deserved!! We love you, Pepper!!

I am so sorry for the loss of your dog.

I made another post on my blog about the mystery shopping you were asking about.

Nice to meet you!
