A Branson Thanksgiving

While we spent the official Thanksgiving weekend with Chad's family in Louisiana, we decided to spend my family Thanksgiving in a non-traditional way. We traveled to Branson the weekend after Thanksgiving to soak up the lights, shopping, and shows. It was a great weekend except that Becca was still a little under the weather from an illness that week...but we forged on. Really enjoyed all of the lights both in Branson and at Big Cedar. While Chad had been to Branson during the holidays, none of us had....so it was a new experience. Speaking of new experiences, Chad (who had been before) went with my family to the Shoji Tobuchi Christmas show. According to Chad, the show has declined somewhat since he saw it last. Nevertheless, as pointed out in our previous blog...free tickets are free tickets and a good time was had by all. We especially enjoyed the bathrooms at Shoji's theater.....it takes very little to amuse my mom! Here are a few pics from our trip.

"Thanksgiving" in Branson was a great way to kick off the Christmas season.
